PLANNED  The next International Ni-Cu-PGE Symposium will be held in summer 2024 at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay with field trips planned to 1) Lac des Iles Mine, 2)  Current Lake and Escape Lake PGE-Cu-Ni Deposits in the Thunder Bay North Project area, and 3) Marathon deposits. Other potential trips include 1) Regional Geology of the 1.1 Ga Midcontinent Rift System on the northern shore of Lake Superior in  Canada and USA, and 2) Archean greenstone belts with Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization. UPCOMING  The next International Platinum Symposium will be held in mid-2023 in Cardiff with field trips planned to Unst, Troodos, and other localities. Information will be posted on the IPS Page and will be sent to the MAGSUL_L list server.
